What we text
Beachside Tidy Co., a home and vacation-rental cleaning business in Longs, North Myrtle Beach and Myrtle Beach, SC, texts its own customers about their cleaning service: estimates, appointment confirmations and reminders, arrival notices, invoices with a payment link, receipts, and replies to their questions. No marketing or promotional texts. Message frequency varies with your bookings; message and data rates may apply.
How customers agree to texts
Online: on our estimate form atbeachsidetidy.com/estimate/start, a customer who enters a mobile number can tick an optional box, which starts unticked:
Text me from Beachside Tidy Co. about my estimate, appointments, invoices and receipts. Optional, not required to book. Msg & data rates may apply; message frequency varies. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.

By phone or in person: before any text is sent, Paula Smith, the owner, asks: “Is it OK if we text this number about your appointments and invoices? Message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP any time to stop, or HELP for help.” Only if the customer says yes does she record their agreement, with the date and time, on their customer record.
By text: texting START to our number also signs up.
No text is sent to a customer without a recorded agreement. Agreeing to texts is never a condition of buying a cleaning.
Stopping texts and getting help
Reply STOP (or UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT) at any time; you will get one message confirming it and no more. Reply START to begin again. Reply HELP for help, or email[email protected]. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
